Can lose their housing if in jail for a long period of time

Can lose their benefits if in jail for a long period of time

Spend more time in jail. It used to be three times more jail time. Due to recognition of the disadvantages this has now dropped to only twice as much time.

Most courts, and the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas in particular, have recognized these disadvantages. They are working to learn how to address them; how to provide services that will allow the proper and just result.
